Discounted Air Travel

Meeting attendees can take advantage of discounted airfares to Philadelphia on United Airlines and Delta Air Lines.

United Airlines is offering:

  • a 5% discount off any domestic published airfare
  • 10% discount off the unrestricted mid week coach fare

Discounted Train Travel

Philadelphia's 30th Street Station is served by AMTRAK, which operates rail service along the Northeast Corridor stretching from Boston, MA to Washington, DC and from new Haven, CT to Springfield, MA.

Special Amtrak fare code X-42R-914 has been activated for September 2-September 11, 2001. Meeting attendees who mention this code when making reservations will receive a 10% savings off the lowest available rail fare.

Ground Transportation

from/to Airport:
Philadelphia International Airport is 8 miles/20 minutes from the Philadelphia Marriott. Transportation via Airport Shuttle will cost approximately $8, and taxi fare will average $20 one way.

from/to to Train Station:
Amtrak's 30th Street Station is a 5-minute cab ride to the Philadelphia Marriott, and taxi fare will average $7.
